Hi, I'm Chelsea.
I share accessible content on raising multiples; tools for weaving story and nature into urban parenthood; and raw reflections on breaking Western childhood myths, gender expectations, the patriarchy, etc.
I'm a Montessori educator of 10 years, have my master's in Children's Literature, and am a published author in HuffPost, GO Magazine, LGBTQ Nation, and more.
I live in Detroit with my beautiful wife Jessica and our wild and precious family--pseudo triplets, whom we coparent with their biological dad Trow.
Jess & I wanted to conceive within several months of each other for pseudo twins. Joke's on us--I conceived ACTUAL twins, giving us pseudo TRIPLETS, conceived 10 days apart.
We used a known sperm donor, Trow, who was excited to be involved in their lives; and we coparent with him in our beautiful historic Detroit home.
The pseudo triplets had medically complicated and dangerous pregnancies and births. At 12 months they were diagnosed with lead poisoning from our historic home and neighborhood, which practically guarantees an ADHD or autism diagnosis later in life.
