Parenting Book Recs (& not)
A running list of the books Jess, Trow, and I have read; which ones we recommend, which ones we think you can skip, and why.
Check in regularly; I'll be adding to this list as we go!
The Conscious Parent by Shefali Tsabary. Read by Chelsea. A brilliant book that I took slowly because every page was full of provocative content that made me pause and reflect back on my entire childhood and how it's made me who I am today.
The author's stance is that the parents who are most whole (ergo, best at being holistic, regulated parents) are those who have looked inward and discovered the flaws and advantages in their own upbringing. The book is full of content that will help anyone, not just parents, heal their childhood wounds.
10/10 recommend.
