Welcome to Motown Multiples: the Blog
The power that adults have in the lives of children is both intuitive and scientifically proven.
But the way we treat children often doesn't line up with the values of raising whole, empathetic, strong human beings.
Instead, we actually create 99% of our problems by the way we raise our little ones.
Hear me out.
If we truly raised our children with love, wisdom, and strength to be their whole and complete selves, we wouldn't have people growing up to be selfish, entitled, or cruel.
We'd virtually eliminate all murders, assaults, and other harmful crimes.
If we treated our children with justice and truth.
That's where I come in.
My mission, as a Montessori educator of a decade, is to bring the ideals of a radically peaceful curriculum into the realities of modern-day parenthood and transform the way I– and you--give care to our precious children.
You don't have to be a parent. You don't even have to be a caregiver or educator.
You just have to care deeply about how we, as a society, treat our children.
This blog is a deep-dive into the topics I write on in my social media: liberating childhood, focusing on radical nurture and respect, undoing all our "ism" and Western biases, in addition to showing the realities and hacks of having multiples and the normalization of queer families.
I'll be sharing long-form, unfiltered parenting moments here, and giving you a glimpse inside my mind as I strike a balance between ideals and reality, and show you the path I'm taking.
I'm in process of building a series of sliding-scale curriculums for caregivers to access.
In the meantime, buy me a coffee! if you feel called to help me share free content for radical caregiving, develop community tools, and care for my family while caring for our world's children too.
Welcome to the revolution, starting in our hearts and homes.
Let's liberate the little lives in our world.
